Obtained from Vermentino (85%) and Viogner (15%), the fermentation takes place directly in the oak barrels for nearly 4 months with subsequent maturing for 2 further months in stainless steel tanks.
Straw coloured with greenish hues, it is a fragrant wine with hints of exotic fruit and vanilla, smooth to the taste and excellent longevity in the bottle.
GOES WELL WITH: An amazingly versatile wine which invites compliments particularly when paired with both simple and particularly elaborate fish dishes. It goes wonderfully with aged cheeses from the Maremma area. |
